Welcome to Oak Creek Kennels! We are a small kennel located in Kansas - the heart of pheasant country. We concentrate on producing the highest quality hunting companion. Our puppies will have the ability to run hunt tests, hunting trials, and field trials. All our dogs have field trial backgrounds with pointing lineage up close. This cross of pedigree provides the best pointing retriever available.

Hunting is a way of life for us. As a guide, I hunt my dogs from August to early April on upland and waterfowl game. Training and competitions are year-round. Our dogs are actively running in NUCS hunt trials, pheasant championships, and soon, AKC/APLA hunt tests. Through breeding selections, we strive to better the breed. Studs and dams are selected based on many criteria: lineage, personality, confirmation, joint structure, and, of course, the ability to produce results in the field. We breed first, for hunting and second, for competition.
