At Wager Creek Kennel we have made a commitment to the German Shorthair Pointer breed for over 13 years and never cease to be amazed by their style, intelligence, performance, stamina, versatility, and companionship. While other breeds are just as incredible, our love for the GSP has caused us to commit ourselves to the training, testing (AKC), hunting, and breeding of our Shorthairs. We are producing dogs the will train with ease, hunt all day, succeed in the AKC hunt test and trials, and yet be able to live in the house with the family. We believe the GSP can do all these things, without ever needing to sacrifice one characteristic for another. We only produce a couple litters per year, as we want to focus our attention on training, hunting and testing before breeding.
