Shallowford Shorthairs is located in the beautiful country near Asheville NC. We have 3 German Shorthaired Pointers (as well as some mutts..) that live a very spoiled life. The dogs and the puppies that we raise, and that own us, are always underfoot. The puppies are very socialized from day one. Handling/proper socialization is something we think is very important, especially for a dog that will weigh atleast 50lbs when full grown.

Hunting prospect puppies are sure to please! We feel that you cannot go wrong with our lines. We select sires for our litters very carefully, to ensure that the instint/drive is strong. We start them on wings at a young age. We are boisterous and loud with them so loud noises do not startle.

We feel that each puppy is termed a "family pet" first, hunting companion second. It is our belief that these pups are better companions and hunters when they are an integral part of the family.
