Welcome to Welsh Run Kennels! We are a small kennel dedicated to the French Brittany, or Epagneul Breton—the finest gun dogs in the world. Our dogs are OFA, registered with the AKC and UKC, from French and Irish parents. Their pedigrees have been researched back 20+ generations and were carefully selected in order to concentrate the superior hunting instinct of many previous champions--such as the great Nat du Buisson de Choisel and Ska de Saint Tugen. Our next litter of puppies is due soon, all colors possible (orange & white, liver & white, black & white, liver tricolor, black tricolor). Many of our pups are natural bobtails. Stud service is always available for eligible females.

These dogs are first and foremost family pets. For this reason, great attention is paid to temperament; our dogs are loving, gentle and calm indoors, yet unstoppable in the field. We prefer dogs who are raised within a home environment, and think that you will, too. All our puppies are socialized from birth with children, cats and other dogs. At Welsh Run we don’t believe that dogs belong in wire cages or cement compounds; in fact, we don’t own any. We produce only a limited number of puppies each year.
