- Bud's Report -
I got my boat out for
the first time in awhile about a month and half ,went out of Port
Sheldon around noon and talked to a few people who were coming in.
They
had not caught anything so I thought it would just be a boat ride.
I started in 140 'and put lines down and took a coho and king in 155'
and lost 2 more, one came on a gray J_plug and one one a spin doctor
and green fly, lots of current pushing south, I may try it again soon. |

Aug
-19th -2010 - Don's
Report - Fishing has slowed
way down out of Port Sheldon. went out for a quick troll yesterday
mid morning. Talked to some guys coming off the water and they had
nothing. We went out to 100 feet and went 1 for 1 in about 2 hours.
Ran spoons and plugs from 40 feet down to 70 down. Lake was rough
they said calm to 1 foot waves but it was more like 3 to 5. Good luck
if you go out. The fish are there just scattered around.

Aug
-4th -2010 - Don's
Report - Was out Sunday night
and went 5 for 6 in 90 feet of water and about 60 feet down. Blue
and green spoons were working well also got one on a plug. Out smarted
ourselfs last night and started to deep. We did pick up 1 in 160 feet
but came into 90 feet before dark and got a couple more. Blue Dolphins
seemed to be the hot lure. Talked to a guy at the dock who went 9
for 11 in 80 to 90 feet fishing between 50 and 60 feet down. Seems
the fish here are in close for some reason. Good luck if you go and
remember to take a kid fishing. They are the future of our sport.
Also had 2 does and 2 fawns right next to the ramp for about 5 minutes.
Way cool.

the boat and got off. Nice Laker on a blue bubble diver 120 feet back.
This set up took another nice rip as well. Coho on a flat lined blue

for me and a lot of other people os far this year. The fish have not
moved in like they did last year, it may be the cold weather we are
getting. I fished Port Sheldon the 15th. 3 hours and nothing tried
South Haven on the 16th. Caught 2 lake trout did not hear about a
lot of other fish taken. I think things will soon get better. I have

out for me, people are getting walleye off the piers at night |
