those who got their bird and are looking for something different to
do with it. Slice
turkey breast into 1/8" - 3/16" thick strips.
Cure in "Hi Mountain "Original" jerky mix in fridge
for 24hrs
Apple wood (chips soaked in water for 3 -4 hrs) for smoke and Put
apple juice in the water pan of the smoker.
Smoke at 200 degrees for about 1 hr 45 min.
Jerky
strips were tender and mildly spicy.
Was soooo
good. I might have ta go buy some turkey just for jerky.
